I'm Kassy Trejo (she/her), a seasoned Library Acquisitions Assistant boasting a decade of rich experience in the field.
My professional journey has seen me in diverse roles such as Bookmobile Assistant, Circulation Clerk, and Library Clerk before finding my current niche in Acquisitions at Evanston Public Library.

Throughout my career, I've dedicated 8 years to Bookmobiles and outreach, engaging in tasks ranging from collection maintenance to orchestrating events and programs. Interacting with patrons has been a fulfilling aspect, especially in remote areas, where I've become adept at overcoming unique challenges to ensure access to quality library materials.

My enthusiasm for libraries extends beyond my professional responsibilities, reflecting a genuine passion for their vital role in the community. I am particularly appreciative of the contributions made by organizations like ABOS in shaping and enhancing library outreach.
